Leading the Way
The Black man has a home on every plane and stratus in the world. Black men are intelligent, creative, strong, and filled with a humanity that commands respect and celebration. Who can forget the nobility of Nelson Mandela who refused to do onto those what they had done unto him? Who did not marvel at the magic of Mohammed Ali and Usain Bolt who elevated sport from mere physical competition to just beyond the imagination? These men are as special as they are black. They are the personification of Marcus Garvey’s message of Black pride, Black power, self-determination, and a destiny of material and spiritual prosperity.
